Den Haag is the city that most visited by tourists in country with many windmills after Amsterdam. Den Haag is an interesting city that worth to be visited. Den Haag is towns that have so many varieties of interesting objects, such as palaces, monuments, museums, beaches, and shopping centers.

Summer time is the perfect time to visit Den Haag. You can relax while enjoying a variety of interesting objects, without having to wear layered clothing and shivering with cold.

No need to worry wherever you will go to all over the city, trams and luxury buses are ready to serve you. All the road information and route was plastered on the wall of each bus stop. Riding a bus from central station to Scheveningen, you can see the beauty of Den Haag beach and harbor. Thousands and thousands of visitors from all over the world has come to this place in summer. This port still had the atmosphere from the past with the old buildings that deliberately combined with the new buildings.

One of the attractive buildings is Scheveningen tourist information office, an old fashioned building but seemed cheerful with bright colors. In this place there is also Scheveningen National Sea Life, where you can watch the sea life through a giant aquarium. You will be taken on a dramatic journey from the coastline into the sea. Entering the tunnel surrounded by 180 thousand liters of water, you can see tiny shrimps, starfish, sharks and other sea creatures can be found there. In addition to the famous beach, Scheveningen also become a great place to hangout.

On Scheveningen, travelers can enjoy a variety of seafood, start from ‘herring’ fish to delicious fresh shrimp salad. Enjoy the sea view from the marina while enjoying a warm cup of coffee or a delicious ice cream, is one thing that you can not miss.

Another place worth to visit is ‘Peace Palace’. Here is the office for Arbitration Institute, Institute of International Justice and International Law Academy. Here they have very complete library, containing law books donated by many donors from around the world. This Peace Palace was built by an American philanthropist, Andrew Carnegie.

Den Haag is also rich with many museums. One of the most popular museums is Marutsthuis museum. Although relatively small and very private, Marutsthuis museum contains an art collection from Netherlands gold century. In this place there are the paintings of royal cabinet also painting from famous painters such as Rembrandt, Vermeet, Frans Hals, Jan Steen and Jan van Goyen.

Right next to Mauritshuis museum there is the Houses of Parliament or also known Binnenhof Ridderzaal (Knights Hall). There is also Omniversum, a theater that featuring films about people and history. While you are there, don`t forget to take a look on Hotel Kurhaus, a hundred years old hotel.
